The "2008" Indian Head Center for the Arts Summer Theatre Camp was made up of a total of 11 students, 6 middle school and 5 high school, even though only 10 ended up performing. The performances were received with much praise and enthusiasm from the 50 or so audience members that watched each show. -Yadira Coleman, one of the High School Students, is now switching her fine arts elective from band to theatre, even though she has done band for the past 4 years. Her thoughts: "Class was interesting and the teacher doesn't bore me, so this looks like this class will be fun. Can't wait till performance!" -There was a noted improvement in projection and articulation from the beginning of the camp that could be seen and heard in the performance. One student, Philip Warlin, went from practically whispering to audible projection over the course of the two-week camp.
